Welcome to 4th Grade at Kenrose Elementary School. My name is Mr. Stenross, and I'll be your teacher this year. I'm excited to teach and learn here in Middle Tennessee.
I'm originally from Upstate New York, but I have been teaching for the past 6 years in Minnesota. It's been a culture shock moving here to Tennessee, but I'm really learning to love the area, just not the heat!
Some of my favorite things to do include ride my bike, play ultimate frisbee and read. I played on an amateur soccer team in Minnesota, and I hope to find a team to play on here in Tennessee. I just recently got married, and my wife and I have been enjoying cooking, although I still have a lot to learn.
I'm looking forward to meeting all of you on the first day of school on August 11th, and working together to create an environment where every student can learn and succeed.
